All About Nails Lavender

This is easy to use, easy to apply and okay drying (2 minutes for the first 2 coats and about 6 minutes for the 3rd coat.). The polish is quite sheer and does require 3 coats to get the bottle colour. I think it's a really nice purple with a subtle shimmer. Lasted well.

Asda George Jeopardy

This is okay to use, okay to apply and good drying time (2-3 minutes a coat). The formula is quite thick but okay to work with. The brush is really good. The polish has a very subtle shimmer, but it's hard to see! I'm not sure why I bought this polish, probably because it was cheap! I did actually like it better than I thought I would! Lasted well.

Accessorize Bumble Bee

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (2 minutes a coat). It is best to leave the bottle upside down between painting hands as this gives better speckle coverage! It's a nice orange speckled polish, but I'm not sure about the name....! Lasted well.

Wet n Wild Stay Outta My Bismuth

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (1-1.5 minutes a coat). The brush is really good and the lid is comfortable to hold. It's a pretty blue foil polish and it's really shiny! Noticed slight tip wear but lasted well otherwise.

Moyra Angel Dust

This is easy to use, easy to apply and okay drying (4-5 minutes a coat). It has a really good brush and the lid is comfortable to hold. It's a really pretty white textured polish. Lasted really well.

Collection 2000 Minx

This is easy to use, easy to apply and okay drying (3-4 minutes a coat). It's a pretty purple colour with a gorgeous shimmer. This is an older one but still good - great brush and lid. Noticed slight tip wear but lasted well otherwise.

Marks & Spencer Pastel

This is easy to use and easy to apply - it isn't too streaky for this kind of colour. Drying time is good, 2-3 minutes a coat. It's a pretty lavender/pink colour. I fancied a bit of change the day I wore it. Lasted well.

Claire's Pastel Shimmer Set -Yellow

This is easy to use, easy to apply and okay drying (4-5 minutes a coat). At first I thought it was yellow then I thought it was gold! It's a golden yellow! The brush is really good and the lid is comfortable to hold. The polish has a subtle shimmer, but this was hard to see in real life. It's not really a colour I suit well and I wasn't that keen on it. Lasted well.

2True Crystal Shade 1

This is easy to use, easy to apply and okay drying (4-5 minutes a coat). The brush is really good and the lid is comfortable to hold. It's a stunning blue polish with a pretty shimmery glittery finish. It's was a very good blue and didn't stain! Lasted really well...see note below!

***We had really bad winds in Scotland last week and a tree blew over onto our garden shed. Me and Mr Economy had to cut it down! This was the polish I was wearing when we cut the tree down and it didn't even chip and my nails didn't get damaged. I only had a thin pair of gloves on!!! Mr Economy had heavy duty gloves on!***

Beauty UK Amethyst

Now I know this is "Posh Polish" but it was under £5 so belongs on this blog and not the other one ;-)

This is easy to use, easy to apply and okay drying (4-5 minutes a coat). It's a pretty lilac/pink colour with a nice foily metallic finish. The brush is really good and the lid is comfortable to hold. I liked this one a lot. Lasted well.

Rimmel Total Eclipse

This is easy to use, easy to apply and slowish drying (5 minutes a coat). It's a pretty black and green textured polished that is slightly iridescent. It looks more so in the bottle and you can see a slight shift to purple in the third photo. This isn't very rough either. Lasted well.

Essence Candy Crush

This is okay to use and okay to apply. The formula is quite thick and prone to dragging, so be careful when painting the nails. I found thinner coats were better. Drying time is okay - about 4 minutes a coat. It's a pretty pink polish with a nice matte finish. Mr Economy (who also doubles as Mr Posh!) isn't that fond of matte polishes. Lasted well.

Seventeen Cameo Crush

Avon Emerald Elegance

Colour Alike 536

This is easy to use, easy to apply and okay drying (about 4 minutes a coat). This brush is really good and the lid is comfortable to hold. It's iridescent with brown and bronzy like colours. It is also sweetly scented like Haribo, but this isn't very strong at all. It's got a good colour shift, just a little too brown for my liking! Lasted well.
