Avon Radiant Rose

I'd like to thank everyone for their kind comments about my long nails, but I had an accident. I woke up one morning and one of my nails was nearly ripped off. So I had to cut them, really short :-(
This is what it looked like after I managed to fix it:

Just a heads up so you know I'll have short nails for a while!

Anyway on with the post ;-)

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (2 minutes a coat). It's a gorgeous raspberry texture with some blue and green glitters. The glitters are quite subtle though. I like it :-) Lasted well.

Claire's Ferris Wheel

This was the glitter topper I put on top of OPI's Down To The Core-al.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and okay drying (4 minutes a coat). Make sure you dip the brush in and out a few times to get plenty of glitter on the brush for good coverage. I think it looks good over the OPI. One of my friends who has never commented on my nails EVER, said that he even liked it! I was shocked LOL :-O Lasted well.

Avon Topaz

This is another of the Avon Mineral Crush range.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and okay drying (3-4 minutes a coat). It's a pretty teal texture with silver glitters. I really like this one. The brush was good and the lid was comfortable to hold. It's not too rough either. Lasted well.

Born Pretty Store - Barbaric Girls Yogurt Milky Glitter Set - Peachy Pink

About a month ago Born Pretty Store contacted me and asked if I wanted to review some products for them. I asked if I could review nail polish only and they agreed. You can be sure that I will review these polishes just as I do any other, as if I had bought it myself. :-)

This is easy to use, easy to apply and slow drying (at least 10 minutes a coat). This one isn't smelly, which I thought was weird, because the blue one was! The brush is really good and the lid is comfortable to hold. Personally I don't really like the colour and I don't think it looks good on me. I also found I was picking at the little glitter bits! Noticed slight tip wear but lasted well otherwise, apart from my picking!

This is easy to use, easy to apply and very slow drying (at least 10 minutes a coat, but I did use thick coats). This polish is quite smelly. The smell does disappear after a few hours though. The brush is really good and the lid is comfortable to hold. It's a really nice blue with lots of different glitters. Lasted well.

Avon Rose Quartz

Avon have released more textured polishes, a range called Mineral Crush. And being a sucker I got them all! This is the first I tried.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and okay drying, though kinda slow for a texture (4 minutes a coat). On the plus side, it's a one coater! It's a pretty pink with silver glitters. It looks nice. Noticed slight tip wear but lasted well otherwise. I often think one coaters are more prone to tip wear, certainly in my experience they are!

Colour Alike 516

Once upon a time....it was sunny in Scotland! Holo day!

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (2-3 minutes a coat). And it's a one coater. AND it's a holo! It's a really pretty raspberry holo. I really liked it and even Mr Economy liked it too. I used a normal base with this, not an aqua. This one is slightly scented but not as strong as other Colour Alike polishes I've tried. Lasted really well.

Moyra In Bloom

This is easy to use, easy to apply and okay drying (4 minutes a coat). BUT it's a one coater! The brush is really good and the lid is comfortable to hold. It's an orange texture with silver sparkles. Not too rough either. Lasted really well.

Essence Black Dress & White Tie

This is the glitter I put on top of Ciate Sweet Pea.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (3 minutes a coat). It's a really nice glitter with black, white and smaller silver glitters. You get really good coverage with one coat. I think it looks really nice on the green. Lasted really well.

Yes Love Neon Glitter G1-6

This is easy to use, easy to apply and kinda slow drying (at least 7 minutes a coat). Make sure you give the bottle a good shake so you get plenty of glitters on the brush. It's a really pretty purple with neon glitters, I really like it. Lasted well.

Seventeen Polka Dots Nail Effects - Tropical Mix

I put this over Orly Crawford's Wine.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (2-3 minutes). You need to shake it well to get lots onto the brush for good coverage. It's got nice pastel colours and dries semi matte. I think it looks okay. Only swatched so no idea how long it lasted!
