Miss Beauty 248 Diamond

A new brand to the blog today, Miss Beauty. This is a brand that a discount shop offers for £1.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and okay drying (3-4 minutes a coat). The brush is thin but easy to use and gives decent coverage. This is quite sheer and I used 3 coats. It's a nice shiny silver and it lasted well.

Avon Beach Linen

This is easy to use, easy to apply and slowish drying (4-5 minutes a coat). It's quite sheer and does require 3 coats. It's quite a pretty off white colour. It's not my normal colour, but I do really like it and Mr Economy liked it too! I noticed there were a few dents after about a hour - so I'd recommend a top coat with this. Lasted well.

Collection 2000 Hip Hop

This is easy to use, easy to apply and okay drying (3-4 minutes a coat). This has a good brush and the formula is good. It's a nice orange. Lasted well.

Essence Hello Sunshine

This is okay to use, okay to apply and okay drying (3-4 minutes a coat). The first coat is quite streaky, so make sure you have plenty of polish on the brush. The second coat is okay. It's a nice enough yellow and I like the matte finish. I would say the Essence brushes are quite thick though. Lasted well.

Born Pretty Store Color Changing Polish 101

Born Pretty Store contacted me and asked if I wanted to review some more products for them. I asked if I could review nail polish only and they agreed. Their conditions are that I need to link to the product, link to their nail art section and have their discount banner in the post. In return they provided the polish for free. You can be sure that I will review these polishes just as I do any other, as if I had bought it myself. :-)

This is okay to use, okay to apply and quick drying (2 minutes a coat). The first coat is quite streaky but the second coat is fine. The brush is quite small but easy to use. Just make sure you have plenty of polish on it for decent coverage, especially on the second coat. It's a really pretty thermal polish and changes quickly between colours. Lasted really well.

Seventeen Foil Fusion Nail Effects Green

This is easy enough to use, okay to apply and okay drying (about 4 minutes a coat). As it's a foil type nail polish, it is quite prone to brushstrokes. Careful application gives a decent enough finish. It's a one coater and I bet it would be great for stamping ;-) It's a pretty green and lasted well.

Avon Polished Plum

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (2-3 minutes a coat). It's a gorgeous dark purple texture with lots of different coloured glitters. It's very sparkly for a texture! Lasted really well.

Avon Agate

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (about a minute a coat). It's a pretty blue texture with silver glitters. This applied really well and the brush was good. I do like the style of polish. Lasted well.

Angelica Mohair

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (2-3 minutes a coat). It's a nice matte polish with an almost hidden purple shimmer. It's really gorgeous. I took photos with the flash to show the shimmer and the last photo is just in my normal lighting, so you can see what it's like. I also popped a top coat on my index finger on my right hand, just so you could see the shimmer under a topper! I do really like the matte finish with the shimmer. Lasted really well.

Avon Flaming Orange

This one is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (about 2-3 minutes a coat). It's a gorgeous orange with lovely golden flecks that look like an amazing shimmer. The brush is really good and the lid is comfortable to hold. Noticed slight tip wear but lasted well otherwise.

So I'm sitting thinking this is a pretty polish but it looks VERY similar to an Avon I tried before called Mandarin Magic. So I dug out MM and compared them! It's the same polish!!!!!! :-|
