Claire's Pastel Shimmer Set - Silver

This is the glitter I put on top of OPI's Skyfall.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and okay drying (2-3 minutes for a coat). You get really good coverage with just one coat! It's a regular silver glitter top coat. I think it looks good on the OPI - almost Christmas like!!! This polish was swatched so no idea how long it lasted!

Moyra Glamour Shade 801

We've recently been able to buy Moyra polishes over here. They had a good offer on so I ordered some!

I had a problem with my order. One of the polishes was incorrect and another was missing. I emailed them a few times and they replied once. I'm still waiting to hear from them again and I cannot say I've been too impressed with their service so far :-( To be fair, their site has been down for over a week now, so they may be having problems with emails and so on? That said, when I placed my order, I didn't even receive confirmation or an email to let me know my order was dispatched. Here's hoping it works out okay.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and slow drying (about 4 minutes for a thin coat and about 10 for a thicker coat). The brush with this polish was slightly wonky but it was okay to use and I didn't need any clean-up afterwards. It's a gorgeous and pretty green that is slightly iridescent. It is quite sheer so you need a good few coats - I've used 3 here. I'm thinking it would be good as a topper too, my husband agrees! Lasted really well.

Essence Party In A Bottle

This is the polish that I put on top of Ciate Knickerbockerglory.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and okay drying (about 3 minutes for a coat). It's a green glitter and I think it looks nice over the Ciate polish. Looks sorta Christmas like! This was only swatched so no idea of lasting time!

Essence Let's Get Lost

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (about 2 minutes a coat). It's a pretty blue colour which was quite hard to capture! I noticed a tiny wee bit of staining upon removal, but nothing major. Lasted really well.

Avon Go Fast Green

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (less than a minute a coat). It's a nice green and I think it's very, very similar to another Avon polish I've got called Mint Ice. The bottles look the same side by side, but I think this one is just slightly darker than the other. If you already have Mint Ice I don't think there is any reason to purchase this one!! Lasted really well.

Maybelline 210 Red Grained

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (about a minute for a coat). It's a pretty red matte colour with subtle flecks. I wouldn't call it a 'vintage leather' finish though. Noticed some tip wear after a while but lasted well otherwise. I picked this up cheap and really wanted to try it, it is nice but not the leather look!

Accessorize Goddess

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (about 2 minutes for a coat). You'll get used to using and holding the lid, it is easy after a few nails are painted! This is a pretty colour and ever so slightly iridescent. I think it's a gorgeous deep green colour :-) Lasted really well.

Avon Must Have Orange

I had ordered this from the last brochure and had expected it to be very orange. But instead is was a more browny orange! It was only 99p.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (less than a minute for a coat). As I said above it isn't really the colour I expected, it is just a little too brown for my liking :-| The brush is really good and the lid is comfortable to hold. It lasted really well. Just isn't me :-| I do find with the Avon polishes, sometimes it's hit and miss with the colours compared to the brochure photos of them!

Seventeen Polka Dots Nail Effects Blue Mix

This is from the new set of Seventeen polishes from Boots. I put it over OPI Sorry I'm Fizzy Today. :-)

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (1-2 minutes for a coat). It dries kind of matte like - which surprised me but I think it's pretty cool :-) I got really good coverage for 1 coat and minimal dabbing was required. I found it best to dip the lid in and out a few time before painting the nails - this way I got lots of dots on the brush. It's a good match for the pink :-). Swatched so no lasting time.

Essence Hello Spring

This is okay to use and okay to apply. The formula is quite thick but okay to use. The first coat is quite streaky but the second is fine. Drying time was quite quick (about 2 minutes for a coat). It's a pretty green with a subtle shimmer - you can just about make it out below the watermark in the second photo. Lasted well.

Technic Rococco

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (about 1.5 minutes for a coat). It has a very thick formula but it's easy to use. The brush is really good as well. It is a pretty colour and I was quite surprised at the finish - I had expected it to be glossy! It was more a satin finish, but I think that is nice :-). Noticed slight tip wear after a few days but lasted well otherwise.

Rimmel Aurora

Manhattan The Ballad Of Blue

This is easy to use, easy to apply and okay drying (about 2 mins for a coat). It's a lovely green and quite subtly iridescent, you can just about make out some purple in the last photo above and below the watermark! The lid and brush are aligned so when you pull the lid off - the brush is in the correct position for painting which makes life a lot easier! Lasted well.

Revlon Plum Attraction

Avon Ruby Slipper

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (about 2 minutes for a coat). It's a pretty red colour with sparkles. This is called Ruby Slipper and it's part of the Diamond Sparkle range and I have another from the regular range called Ruby Slippers - I'm thinking they look quite similar - certainly in the bottle they do! Lasted really well.
