This is okay to use and okay to apply. The brush is a bit fiddly but was okay to use in the end. It's okay drying. It's a gorgeous colour. Lasted okay but did show some signs of tip wear on one hand. Upon removal I noticed slight staining as well.

Primark Loveable Luxuries Purple Glitter

This is the last one of the set! I put it on top of the black!

This is easy to use, easy to apply and okay drying. I certainly felt the lid and brush was much easier to use by the 4th polish! You get really good coverage for one coat. I think it looks nice on top of the black! Lasted okay.

Primark Loveable Luxuries Black

This is the third colour of the set.

This is okay to use and okay to apply. Definitely getting better using this type of lid and brush. Make sure you have plenty on the brush as it's quite small. Seemed to be quite slow drying, but quicker than the previous two colours. It's a regular black polish. Noticed slight tip wear after a while, no chipping tho.

Primark Loveable Luxuries Bronzey Gold

This is the second wee polish from the set.

This is okay to use and okay to apply. I think I was getting used to the lid and brush. Make sure you have plenty polish on the brush as it's small. This one is also quite smelly and slow drying. Not smelly enough to give me a headache tho! I think it's a pretty colour kinda bronze and gold like. Lasted well.

Primark Loveable Luxuries Red

I got this little set as a Christmas Present from one of my friends.

This is okay to use and okay to apply. The lid is tricky to hold at first and the brush is quite wee, so make sure you have plenty on it. It's quite slow drying and a bit smelly too. It's a pretty red that lasted okay.

W7 Rocket

I popped this on top of the last post.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and slow drying. It looks good as a top coat. It has little holographic particles which I tried to capture, you can just about make them out! It has silver glitter and little blue feathers too. Lasted well.

L'Oreal The Queen's Might

HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone! I hope your new year was better than mine. I wasn't feeling great and ended up in bed for most of the 31st and 1st :-( I'm better now thankfully.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and fairly quick drying. It's a nice sorta red/pink colour, raspberry like I guess. It lasted okay but had slight tip wear.

Marks & Spencer Textured Polish Turquoise Mix

I picked this up a fair few weeks ago. Mr Economy couldn't understand why I was so excited!

This is easy to use, easy to apply and mega quick drying. It looks amazing and gorgeous. Love it! Lasted really well.

Bourjois Shade 14

I hope everyone is having a lovely holiday period. And spare a thought for those poor people affected by the storms in the UK.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and fairly quick drying though not as quick as they'd have you believe! The brush is mental, it's really thick and one stroke does the nail! It's good though and easy to use. I think it is a lovely colour with a subtle shimmer to it. These bottles don't fit in the Helmer hehe. Lasted well.

Ohhhh

This is easy to use, easy to apply and fairly quick drying. The brush is really good and the lid is comfortable to hold. It's a lovely iridescent colour!!!! Blue and purple and sometimes bronze. Lasted well and it's pretty!

Barry M Bright Red

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying. It's a one coater!!! It's a lovely red colour. Prone to slight scuffing but I think that's because it is only one coat!

Asda George 58 Venom (Matte)

This is okay to use, and iffy to apply. It's slightly gloopy but okay to work with. You need a thick coat or else this happens:

Crackle! :-( It's quick drying for sure. I think it's a nice matte black but was prone to scuffing, I guess that is just the nature of these polishes.

Kleancolor 214 Glamour Barbie

Oh how I love Kleancolor polishes!

*All fingers, except pinky, used with Top Coat*

This is easy to use, easy to apply and slow drying, that's why I used a top coat! I used Ciate's Speed Coat as it was part of the Advent Calendar! This is a gorgeous pink colour with holo glitter sparkles! It lasted well with and without the top coat!

W7 Wild Blue

This is okay to use, so-so to apply and slow drying! The formula was a bit gloopy, perhaps that was just my bottle, and this made it hard to work with. Tended to drag and not paint the nails properly. Despite all that, it's still a gorgeous blue! Lasted well. Put Ciate Sequins Miss Mistletoe on top of 3 nails! Check it out.

Quiet times in December

Having bought the Ciate Advent Calendar, I won't be around as much on this blog as I'll be trying to keep up with the posting on my other blog: Posh Polishes.
