W7 Blue Debris

Oh new W7 polishes always excite me! The new range is pretty cool - glitters and flakies. This is the first one I decided to wear and I put it on top of Marks & Spencer Lacquer Red.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and okay drying. You get quite good coverage with 1 coat and it's easy to paint the nails. I think it looks pretty cool on the red! Lasted well.

Marks & Spencer Lacquer Red

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying. It's really gorgeous and what a lovely shade of red! In some lights it looks kinda orange-like though. Lasted really well.

Stargazer 106 Purple

This is an oldie!

Despite being old this is easy to use, easy to apply and slow drying! It's still in good condition after all these years. I think I picked up in the early 2000s and have no idea where from! It is an absolutely gorgeous colour and lasted well.

Marks & Spencer Duck Egg

This is easy to use, easy to apply and fairly quick drying. It's an opal minty colour with a slight shimmer, lol almost iridescent! You can just about make it out in the last picture. I used 3 coats: 2 thin ones and the final was a thick coat. Lasted really well and it's so pretty!

Barry M Countess

This is easy use, easy to apply and quick drying. The brush is thin so you need plenty on it. Lol I keep forgetting how thin the Barry M brushes are! It's purple with pink, green and gold glitter. It's lovely and gorgeous and lasted well!

Asda George 61 Flamingo

This is okay to use and okay to apply. The first coat is very streaky and patchy but the second coat is fine. It's very quick drying as the polish is matte and mattes usually dry quickly! Prone to slight scuffing. Lovely colour tho.

Sally Hansen Snappy Sprinkles

I put this on top of: OPI's Dining Al Frisco

This was okay to use, I had to dab the polish on rather than paint the nails. It's very slow drying as well. Dabbing on seemed to do the trick as I managed to get the coverage I wanted. Looks pretty cool on top of the blue.

Faints! Spied this in Boots the other week and so HAD to buy it. Has 3 friends, which will be posted soon

This is easy to use, easy to apply and mega quick drying. It's absolutely gorgeous and I love it! Love it, I say! It's pink with gold sparkles. Lasted really well :-)

2True Crystal Shade 7

This is easy to use, okay to apply - the first coat was slightly gloopy but manageable. The first coat was quick drying but the second took ages. I'd say it's slightly iridescent hehe. Lovely and lasted well.

Scottish meet up with NailsNoob

A few Sundays ago I met up with a fellow blogger Nails Noob.

We went shopping, we had lunch and we spent ages talking! We just clicked!

We spent ages in Glasgow going around all the different polish shops. After hours of shopping, we were exhausted so decided to get lunch. We both had Chinese food. I then painted her nails, sadly we forgot to get pictures because we were too busy talking! Then we went Lush and I took her back to Edinburgh.

We are planning another meeting soon! We'll get more pictures for the next one!

A great day was had by all and a good friendship was found :-)

Avon Color Trend Lioness

Both natural light, dull.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying. It's two coats - 1 thin one then a thick one. It's weird because I don't really like brown polishes, but this one I do really like! I kept looking at it thinking "I like you!" Sadly prone to slight chipping.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and fairly quick drying. It's a kinda deep green colour. Sadly prone to chipping and didn't last well at all.

I'm back!

What an unbelievable two months we've had! Needless to say it's all over and I don't really want to think about it anymore.

Sadly my nails aren't in the best condition with packing and unpacking. My photo gear is still packed away! Will need to think of some other way of getting photos lol.

I sadly missed the 3-4 weeks of gorgeous sunshine we had in Scotland and I could have worked my way through all those holos!!!! Oh well.

I've got a KleanColor polish that I wore before that fateful day we were told we no longer had a home (13th June). I cannot believe the last time I painted my nails was the 11th of June!!!!! Today I'm wearing Perceval and this is the first time I've painted for ages, will need to get back into the swing lol.

What I've learned from this? Don't ever rent privately, they can just chuck you out 'your' house at any time. This is the 2nd time it's happened to us in 3 years!!!

Thankfully we are in a much better frame of mind now :)

Just to let everyone know I'll not be about for the next few months. Got some really bad news and it means that we need to find a new house to live in as soon as :-(

I've been packing like mad and my nails aren't looking too great. Been stressed to the max also.

It's a pity, before the bad news Mr Economy ordered a fancy light for holo pics, haven't even had time to try it out :-(

I'll be back as soon as I can.

Perfect Holographic H2

Another sunny day, another holo!

This is  easy to use, easy to apply and fairly quick drying. This one was slightly weaker than the last Perfect Holographic I tried and needs 2 coats. Used with the Aqua Base coat again. It's an amazing and immense holo!!!! Lasted really well.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and fairly quick drying. The brush is really good with these polishes. It's a dark blue with dense glitter. Lasted really well.
