This is easy to use, easy to apply and good drying (3 minutes a coat). The brush is really good for a mini bottle too! The colour is gorgeous and it has a slight shimmer. This lasted really well too and I think it is gorgeous. You may notice a few cat hairs on the nails, one of my cats was walking all over my table while I was painting and a few hairs must have landed on my nails!

Kiko - Ravishing Ruby (Holiday Gems)

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and Happy Holidays :-D

This is easy to use, easy to apply and okay drying (5-6 minutes a coat). It is a gorgeous red that required only 1 coat! Has anyone else used this as I was sure it was slightly scented when I was painting! I didn't noticed a scent when it dried though! It lasted well and it looks super amazing.

Maybelline - Marshmallow

 

This is okay to use, okay to apply and good drying (3-4 minutes a coat). It is a nice pearly colour but sadly prone to brush strokes! It think it is nice enough, but sure there are better quality pearly polishes out there. It did lasted okay.

Primark - Evergreen

 

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (1 minute a coat). It is a mini bottle but the brush is really, really good. It is a nice green and I really like it. I did use a top coat with it, but only on 3 fingers: index, middle and pinkie....it lasted well with and without the top coat.

Avon - Glitterati

This is okay to use, okay to apply and slow drying (at least 10 minutes or more). The brush was slightly dodgy but managed to work with it. It is a purple jelly based polish with different glitters, some are holo. It is gorgeous but sadly the glitters chipped off easily and caught on stuff like my clothes and hair, so definitely advise a top coat with this.

Collection 2000 - Big Hair

 

This is easy to use, easy to apply and good drying (3 minutes a coat). It is an older range, not sure when from...early 2000s? The brush is thin but is good to paint with. It is a lovely and vibrant red. Lasted really well.

Kiko - Rosy Salt (Ocean Feel)

 

This is easy to use, easy to apply and okay drying (5-6 minutes a coat). The brush is really good and makes it easy to paint with, it is wide. This is a nice pale baby pink polish with white glitters. It is described as being a "sea salt" finish, but not really textured. Lasted really well. I used 2 coats here but think 3 might have been better.

L'Oreal - Spicy Orange

 

This is easy to use, easy to apply and good drying (3-4 minutes a coat). The brush is really good too, wide and makes it easy to paint the nails with. I think it is nice, but more red than orange though! In the photos I used 2 coats, but for short nails, I really think 1 would have done. Lasted well.

Home Bargains - Pink Glitter

This is from the Go Glitter set that is available from Home Bargains for Christmas - this set is still in the shops. I checked yesterday! As I had mentioned on my other blog Posh Polishes, one of my nails snapped so back to shorties!

This is easy to use, easy to apply and okay drying (5-6 minutes a coat). It is nice enough and would look nice over a white or dark colour I reckon. 1 coat looks decent solo, I think. I really thought from the bottle I wouldn't like it, but surprisingly it grew on me quickly and ended up really liking it! Lasted really well.

Barry M - Crushed Ribbon

 

This is okay to use, tricky to apply and good drying (3-4 minutes a coat). It is really awkward to apply so careful application is required or else it kinda splits and shrinks. You can see the lines, especially on the middle finger. I think is looks okay, just a bit too brown for me! I like the finish and it has a little sparkle to it. I must admit it did grow on me over time! Lasted well.

Home Bargains - Gold Glitter

I put this on top of Nails Inc Out Of Hours. It is from the Go Glitter set that Home Bargains currently have in store for Christmas.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and good drying (4-5 minutes a coat). It is a nice golden glitter and looks good over the Nails Inc polish I think. The brush was good and made it easy to apply. Lasted really well.

Home Bargains - Silver Glitter

 This is from the new set Home Bargains have for Christmas, Go Glitter.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and okay drying (6-7 minutes a coat). It looks good solo and as a topper, probably a bit better as a topper though! I think it looks good on the blue for sure! The brush was really good and the lid comfortable to hold. Lasted really well and I thought it was a nice simple glitter.

Beauty Line Cosmetics - Lime Garnish

 One from the Holiday Hauls, Greece this time.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and slow drying (8-9 minutes a coat or a bit more). Make sure you dip the brush in and out a few times to get plenty glitters on the brush and this gives good coverage too. I think it looks really awesome and sooooooo Hallowe'en appropriate! It is a greeny yellow base with blue and green and yellow glitters! Lasted really well. Loved it and the only -ve is the drying time, but just use a top coat or spray to speed it up!

Kiko - Metallic Jungle Green (088)

 

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (2 minutes a coat). The brush is really good and makes painting the nail nice. It is a lovely golden greeny colour, reminds me a little of Chanel's Peridot. This lasted really well and was impressed with the good formula.

Barry M - Cafe Velvet

 

This is okay to use, tricky to apply and good drying (2-3 minutes a coat). Careful application is required as it shrinks and splits like a crackle polish!!! You can see a few of these lines on the middle finger. It does happen a lot with matte polishes. Try to reduce the strokes on application. It looks okay and I do like the finish, just don't think the colour suits me. Lasted well.
