Seventeen - Crushed Foils Silver

 

I bought this polish over 10 years ago, I am not quite sure if the glitter pieces have faded slightly as I had expected it to look more silver. It has a friend that I posted in 2014, if you look at it here, you'll see what I mean the glitters are golden. 

It is easy to use, easy to apply and good drying (2-3 minutes a coat). The brush and formula are both good and it goes on well. I think it would look better if the glitters were more silvery rather than greyish. This is the problem with glittery polishes, they do deteriorate over time even if well looked after. It's okay I guess.

Seventeen - Polka Dots ~ Black Red Mix

I put this on top of the last post - Collection 2000 Mint Mojo. 

This is easy to use, easy to apply and good drying (3 minutes a coat). It is more dabbing really, than painting on. It is nice but I think this has faded. It is maybe 7 years old or so. Some nail polishes do fade over the years. The pink dots should be red! Regardless of the fading, it does look okay on the green I think. This lasted well.

Seventeen Foil Fusion Pink

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (1-2 minutes a coat). It is slightly brush strokey so plenty on the brush for a decent finish. It is a pretty colour and lasted well. One coater and I think this would be a great polish for stamping!

Seventeen Pastel Confetti Blue

I put this on top of Orly Smoulder.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (3-4 minutes a coat). It is a lovely blue glitter with an iridescent shimmer! Absolutely gorgeous! Lasted well.

Seventeen Rock Hard Couture Nail Effects Celestial Pearl

This is easy to use, easy to apply and okay drying (4 minutes a coat). It's a nice pretty white textured polish with lovely sparkles! Looks kind of bridal too! Lasted well.

Seventeen Mix Mosaic Nail Effects Pink Mix

I put this over Dance Legend Teliko.

This is okay to use and okay to apply. It is more like dabbing onto the nails than painting. I dipped the brush in and out a few times to make sure I had plenty of glitters on the brush. Drying time was okay about 5 minutes. It's a nice mix of colours and I think it looks nice on the silvery colour. Lasted well.

Seventeen Pastel Confetti Nail Effects Green

I put this over China Glaze Pin Prick.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and good drying (2-3 minutes a coat). It's a lovely green glitter polish with an amazing shimmer. The shimmer is slightly iridescent too! I think it's nice over the red! Lasted well.

Seventeen Foil Fusion Nail Effects Green

This is easy enough to use, okay to apply and okay drying (about 4 minutes a coat). As it's a foil type nail polish, it is quite prone to brushstrokes. Careful application gives a decent enough finish. It's a one coater and I bet it would be great for stamping ;-) It's a pretty green and lasted well.

Seventeen Chalk Dots Nail Effects Green

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (1-2 minutes a coat). It looks like mint choc chip on my nails! I do like the speckled look. The brush is really good and the lid is comfortable to hold. Lasted well.

Seventeen Polka Dots Nail Effects - Tropical Mix

I put this over Orly Crawford's Wine.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (2-3 minutes). You need to shake it well to get lots onto the brush for good coverage. It's got nice pastel colours and dries semi matte. I think it looks okay. Only swatched so no idea how long it lasted!

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (about 3 minutes a coat). It's a gorgeous textured polish and I do really like the colour and sparkles. This one isn't too rough. Lasted well.

Seventeen Tinsel Nail Effects Blue

This is the glitter I put on top of China Glaze Define Good... I think it looks very festive! I should have posted this yesterday, but I wasn't very well and I've still got quite an upset tummy today. Finding it hard to stand up and do basic things :-(

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (about 3 minutes a coat). You get really, really good coverage for the one coat. The bar glitters are holographic and you can just about make that out from the photos. I like this topper, it's pretty and sparkly. I only swatched this, so no idea of how long it lasted.

Seventeen Off The Wall Metal Nail Effects - Gold

This is the glitter I put on top of OPI Get Cherried Away.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (about 2 minutes a coat). It is an interesting mix of glitters. You get really good coverage with one coat and no dabbing is required! Swatched so no idea of lasting. A little note, as I mentioned in the OPI's post, I did get staining upon removal on both hands - one with the glitter and one without! So I don't think the glitter is to blame! ;-)

Seventeen Polka Dots Nail Effects Blue Mix

This is from the new set of Seventeen polishes from Boots. I put it over OPI Sorry I'm Fizzy Today. :-)

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (1-2 minutes for a coat). It dries kind of matte like - which surprised me but I think it's pretty cool :-) I got really good coverage for 1 coat and minimal dabbing was required. I found it best to dip the lid in and out a few time before painting the nails - this way I got lots of dots on the brush. It's a good match for the pink :-). Swatched so no lasting time.

Seventeen Chalk Dots Nail Effects - Pink

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (less than a minute for each coat). It's a pretty speckled polish. I'd have to say that it doesn't really look pink in the bottle but does look more pink on the nails. I have one thing to say, I think it would be better with a top coat - I kept picking the little glittery bits DOH!!!! Lasted really well.

Seventeen Rock Hard Nail Effects - Grey

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (about 1.5 minutes for a coat). It's a nice grey textured polish, no glitter just textured. It's not too rough either so didn't catch in my hair or anything like that! At first I wasn't sure about it but it did grow on me! Lasted well.
