Asda George - Peach Crush

 

This is easy to use, easy to apply and slowish drying (5-6 minutes a coat). The brush is mini but okay and the fomula is really good. It is a nice peachy textured polish. Very summery! This lasted really well.

Asda George - Black Denim

 

This is okay to use, okay to apply and quick drying (1-2 minutes a coat). This brush is small so you need plenty polish on it for good coverage. The formula is good and goes on nicely. The lid was a bit tricky at first to hold and paint but by the second coat, I got the knack of it. It is lovely and lasted well. Not sure it is a "denim" finish though!

Asda George 3D Blue Glitter

This is easy to use, easy to apply and okay drying (6 minutes a coat). It dries kind of matte and does have a 3d texture to it. Looks pretty on the red. Lasted well.

Asda George Jeopardy

This is okay to use, okay to apply and good drying time (2-3 minutes a coat). The formula is quite thick but okay to work with. The brush is really good. The polish has a very subtle shimmer, but it's hard to see! I'm not sure why I bought this polish, probably because it was cheap! I did actually like it better than I thought I would! Lasted well.

Asda George Kiwi Crush

This is another of the textured polishes from Asda :-)

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (2 minutes a coat). The brush is good and the lid is comfortable to hold. It is a pretty green textured polish. Some of the texture bits look like pores, especially in the last photo! You don't noticed these in real life though. The texture isn't too rough. Lasted really well.

Asda George Passionfruit Crush

Asda have released 4 textured polishes. Being a sucker for textures, I picked them all up. This is the first one I decided to try :-)

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (about 1 minute for a coat). It's a pretty purple texture. Though I would say I think this is for the die-hard texture fans as there are no sparkles nor glitter. The texture isn't too rough and doesn't catch on things. The brush is really good and the lid is easy to hold. Lasted really well.

Asda George 44 Deceit

This is okay to use and okay to apply. The brush was slightly wonky and hard to work with at first, but I got the hang of it. It's okay drying about 3-4 minutes for one coat. I applied one thick coat here. It's a nice black with little bits of glitter, they are quite subtle and you need to good lighting (and eyesight) to see them! Lasted well.

Asda George 3D Green Glitter Aquarium

I put this on top of the last post!

This is okay to use and okay to apply. It was a bit tricky at first but I got used to the application. You need to go over what you've painted to get full coverage. Okay drying wise. It's a glitter top coat with green and blue glitter. Looks alright on top of the orange! Lasted well.

Asda George 58 Venom (Matte)

This is okay to use, and iffy to apply. It's slightly gloopy but okay to work with. You need a thick coat or else this happens:

Crackle! :-( It's quick drying for sure. I think it's a nice matte black but was prone to scuffing, I guess that is just the nature of these polishes.

Asda George 61 Flamingo

This is okay to use and okay to apply. The first coat is very streaky and patchy but the second coat is fine. It's very quick drying as the polish is matte and mattes usually dry quickly! Prone to slight scuffing. Lovely colour tho.

Asda George 52 Gambler

(Slightly wonky lid!)

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying. Just make sure you have plenty on the brush when you are painting the nails. It's not glossy, but I wouldn't describe it as matte either. It's a gorgeous deep pink colour and it lasted okay.

Asda George 89 Beach Bum

OMG it's been like weeks since I last posted. Had intended to be posting regularly as I've got some great polishes to wear, but sadly the weekend before Halloween I took ill and it lasted about 2 weeks. Was nasty and my hubby had to look after me. So painting my nails wasn't top of the list! I'm back and feeling much better now. So on with the show.

Asda George 18 Princess Pink

Another one from Asda today! This one is called Princess Pink. I'm not quite sure about the pink part!! More purple if you ask me.
