Barry M Purple Rain Crackle NP332
Ah a lovely purple crackle on top of the last post. Lovely.
Out doors, kinda dreich 1 day.
All above 1 coat.
This is okay to use, still getting used to the crackles - think I've been saying that for a few months now! Application is okay and the brush is good. Drying time is fairly quick and is kinda matte like. Looks pretty cool over Elfstone!! I like it.
7 out of 10. Think I got it from their official site, but easy enough to pick up in shops.

A bit of fun with Crackle
I tried a few different Crackles on the Lagoon nails from the previous post.
Up first we have Barry M Nail Effects 315 Blue:
And next up we have Beauty UK Night Fever:
(Slightly blurry, sorry)
Next is Barry M Nail Effects 314 Pink:
And finally, Barry M Nail Effects 316 White:
Has that tipp-ex look about it.
For the OPI's look on the other blog!
I'm still trying to get use to the crackles and how to apply them. Slowly but surely!

MUA Broken Arrow Crackle
Just had to try this one.
It's a purple crackle one. At first I wasn't sure what colour to base it with then I decided on a white. The following are on top ofOPI's Alpine Snow (which is over £5 tut tut).
It was easy to apply and dried quickly. It isn't as dull as the other crackles I've used (Barry Ms) and it does dry with a shiny finish, which is hard to tell from the pictures. I thought it would be awkward with the wee bottle, but it was easy to use. It did last the few day I had it on.
Like this one a lot and would highly recommend it. A sure 10 out of 10 can't fault it in anyway! And only £2.99 from Superdrug.
I'm not sure what other colours to base with it. Maybe a green next time?

Crackle Playing With Lemon Ice Cream
Decided to experiment (once again) with the Barry M crackles (Nail Effects).
From L-R we have: Barry M Pink Nail Effects (Pink Fizz NP 314) and Barry M Black Nail Effects (Black Magic NP 311).
I alternated the colours.
How cool does that yellow/black combo look! These is something appealing about the yellow/pink too.
The crackle nail varnishes are pretty cool I think. They don't last as long and tend to be a bit duller (matte I guess) but I'm not that fussed about using a shiny top coat.
Both these cost £3.99 from Superdrug. And VERY cool.

(Didn't mean this one to look so rude - soz.)

Jester Playing With Crackle
I recently jumped on the Crackle/Shatter bandwagon and own a couple. All the Barry M's, OPI Black Shatter (over £5!) and W7 Silver Earthquake.
I played about with Jester (from the previous post) with these three:
From L-R we have W7 Silver Earthquake, Barry M Blue Nail Effects (Blue Print NP 315) and Barry M White Nail Effects (White Frost NP 316).
These were the results:
I do like the Crackle Nail Polish, it's a great idea. But I'm still getting used to the application, I still find it difficult!!
I'm liking the Red/White combo, would be good for Christmas time.
W7 Silver Earthquake was £1.99 from B&Ms
Both Barry M's £3.99 from Superdrug
