About Me

My photo
Scotland
I'm a simple Scottish girl with an unusual name and a strange obsession for nail polish! My aim is to capture what the eye sees, with a camera! Too much nail polish and never enough time. I have also started wildlife photography, which I enjoy very much. Welcome to my little world :-)

Barry M Liquorice

I put this over OPI You Are So Outta Lime.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (about 1-2 minutes a coat). You get really good coverage for one coat. I think the nails look really hairy and this is one you either like or hate! I think it looks okay over the green though. Swatched so no idea how it lasted.

Rating
Easy to use = 8/10
Application = 8/10
Drying time = 8/10
Lasted well = N/A as swatched
Coats = 1
Finish = hairy.bar glitter
Removal = easy with foil method
Overall = 7/10
Purchased from = Tesco for 99p

My Personal Rating = 7/10 :-)

  3. Uhm... when it comes to bars, I don't like the blacks, because they do remind me about hair a lot, the same goes about dark bars. I guess this is the hairy nail polish you wrote in my blog you were wearing at that time? ;)

    1. They do look a lot like hair - like you've shaken your shaver over wet nails! I think you either like it or not! I think it okay over this colour though! Yeah correct :-) ;-)

  4. I agree, it's a very hairy look, I can stand a low amount of bar glitters, but this is a bit too much for me - even if I am so used to cat- and dog hairs all over :D

  9. These bar glitters are small and delicate enough that they don't bother me like bigger ones do--or maybe I'm just getting over my bar glitter aversion entirely. :)

  16. personally not really a fan of this one... maybe if the bars were shorter so they didn't look so "hairy" lol... i do like the way the colors go together though!
