Maybelline Green Zing




This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (about a minute a coat). It's an ugly green and it is really sheer - this is 4 coats! Thank goodness it is quick drying!!! I really think this would look better on a white base, I will need to try that. It really isn't that nice :-( I put a shatter over it as I wanted to make it look more Hallowe'en like! I will post that on the other blog hopefully tomorrow. Slight staining too.

Lasted well = N/A as put topper on it

Finish = semi-matte jelly neon
Removal = easy with foils, but had topper on it
Overall = 7/10

My Personal Rating = 4/10 :-| Kinda ugly but got some good points (drying and usage)

    I usually love greens but 4 coats is too many. I bet it would be super bright over white.

    Staining, bleh. This polish looks slightly similar to Models Own, Toxic Apple! I like the finish of this Maybelline and its colour too, I like such greens :)

    I can't do 4 coats... I just don't have the patience. I usually get frustrated after the second coat and make the third / fourth coat too thick and then it won't dry haha. Hopefully it will look better over a white base!
