Rimmel Singing De Blues

This is okay to use and okay to apply. The formula is a bit thick but manageable. It is quite slow drying (4-5 minutes a coat). It's a lovely blue colour with a very subtle shimmer. Lasted really well.

Barbara Daly Carnival

This is okay to use, okay to apply and okay drying (3 minutes a coat). The brush is decent enough, but make sure you've got plenty on it as it is small. The first coat is fairly streaky but the next few are fine. I think it's a pretty colour. Lasted well.

Hallowe'en Nails

This is how I made Essence LOL more Hallowe'en like!

The purple crackle is MUA Broken Arrow and the black crackle is China Glaze Black Mesh (from the other blog)! :-D

This is easy to use, okay to apply and okay drying (3-4 minutes a coat). The first coat is quite streaky but the second is fine. It is a lovely bright green, ideal for Hallowe'en ;-) This lasted well.

Barry M Starlet

This is another of the new Barry M polishes.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and okay drying (about 3 mins a coat). It is a pretty iridescent glitter that sparkles. The formula on this polish is better than Fashion Icon and not thick, I noticed this one dried quicker too! Lasted really well.

Avon Teal Glitter

Another of the textured polishes from Avon.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (1-2 mins a coat). The brush is really good too. I think this is such a gorgeous looking polish :-) The texture isn't too rough either. Pretty and sparkly! Lasted really well.

Essence Glorious Aquarius

This is the glitter I put on top of Orly Hawaiian Punch.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and okay drying (3-4 minutes a coat). You get really good coverage for one coat. I think this looks really good over the Orly and what a pretty glitter. Lasted really well.

Barry M Forest

This is one of the new Barry M polishes, it is part of the Silk Collection.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (2 minutes a coat). It's a pretty greeny colour with a lovely silky finish. In the last photo, I think you can just about make out a small flash of purple? Lol or is it my eyesight? Noticed slight tip wear but lasted well otherwise.

Avon Cherry Dazzler

Avon have finally released textured polishes. They have 7 different colours and, yeah, I got them all! I do love a good texture. This is the first one I tried! :-)

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (about 2 minutes a coat). It's a gorgeous red textured polish :-) It is very similar to the OPI Liquid Sands polishes. The texture isn't very rough, but noticeable! I really liked this one. Lasted well.

Asda George Kiwi Crush

This is another of the textured polishes from Asda :-)

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (2 minutes a coat). The brush is good and the lid is comfortable to hold. It is a pretty green textured polish. Some of the texture bits look like pores, especially in the last photo! You don't noticed these in real life though. The texture isn't too rough. Lasted really well.

Miss Sporty Whiting Dream

I noticed Miss Sporty had a new range out! I picked them up as they were on offer and this is the first I tried.

And finally one in the sunlight!

This is easy to use, easy to apply and okay drying (3-4 minutes a coat). It is a pretty silver iridescent polish with holo sparkles! I can see flashes of silver, green and pink. I really like the holo sparkles too. The brush was really good and made it easy painting the nails and the lid was comfortable to hold. Lasted really well.

Claire's Funky

This is a glitter I put on top of China Glaze Escaping Reality. :-) It was one of the ones I picked up when Claire's had a sale on the polishes. I picked up a good few because they were £1 and buy one get one free!!!

This is easy to use, okay to apply and slow drying (about 5-6 minutes a coat). The brush has a few bristles that were sticking out, but I cut them off and it was okay to use after that. To get lots of glitter onto the brush I find it best to dip the brush in and out a few times. I also found that I needed to dab the larger bits of glitter onto the nails! I think this looks really good over the pink. It looks green in the bottle but sometimes I was looking at it thinking the glitters looked more gold. Lasted really well. I think it has that Hallowe'en look about it too :-)

Sally Hansen Plume

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (about 2 minutes a coat). This is iridescent with flashes of gold, bronze/copper and green. It looks really nice but I think it could have been stronger! This has a good brush and the lid is comfortable to hold. Lasted really well.

Avon Habanero It Girl

This is okay to use, very streaky when applied and okay drying (2-3 minutes a coat). I'm not quite sure why I bought this one as I really don't like the colour and it doesn't suit me at all! Just doesn't do anything for me! 3 coats gets a half decent finish. Lasted well.
