About Me

My photo
Scotland
I'm a simple Scottish girl with an unusual name and a strange obsession for nail polish! My aim is to capture what the eye sees, with a camera! Too much nail polish and never enough time. I have also started wildlife photography, which I enjoy very much. Welcome to my little world :-)

Essence Heart Explosion

Another of the new Essence polishes that I picked up last week!

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (about a minute for a coat). The brush is really good and the lid is comfortable to hold as well. This is slightly textured but not much. It's a pretty red colour with gold glitter. Lasted well.

Rating
Easy to use = 8/10
Application = 8/10
Drying time = 8/10
Lasted well = 8/10
Coats = 2
Finish = textured and glittery
Removal = easy used the foil method
Overall = 8/10
Purchased from = Wilkos

My Personal Rating = 7/10 :-)

  1. This is so pretty! I've seen such a mix of good and bad reviews of the Essence polishes I can't decide whether it's worth the hour long walk to Wilko's!

    1. It really is! I've tried two so far and been impressed!

      I'd say it's worth the walk, for the polishes and for the walk too :-)

  5. So pretty!! I can't believe you only just got Essence-- I thought they distributed all through EU for years? We get a few of their special collections stateside and they're always so much fun. Haven't seen this one yet, though...

  7. When it comes to Essence, I'm torn. I have great nail polishes and I bought ones with a poor finish. I guess it all depends on a nail polish in this brand's case. Ananka, you've started with nice ones. This red is nice. You look great in red :)

  11. It's really pretty, but I have too many textured nail polishes in my untried box (shame on me!), I think I will wait a few months before buying it!
