Born Pretty Store Holo Polish #12

Born Pretty Store contacted me and asked if I wanted to review some more products for them. I asked if I could review nail polish only and they agreed. This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (3-4 minutes a coat). The brush is really small so be sure to have plenty of polish on it for good coverage. It really is a great green holo. Lasted well.

Accessorize Butterfly

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying time (2 minutes a coat). It's a lovely white based polish with black and red glitters. I do like this sort of polish. The brush is good and the lid is comfortable to hold. Lasted well.

Essence Girls Night Out

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (2 minutes a coat). It's a pretty pink with a lovely shimmer. The formula is really good and the brush is as well. Lasted well.

Miss Sporty Pink Bloom

Essence Yummy Gummy

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (2-3 minutes a coat). It really is well named! It's a lovely bubble gum pink colour. It has a slightly matte rubbery finish, which I like. Lasted well.

Avon Diamond

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (about 1 minute a coat). This is a nice texture polish. I'd say it was a kind of pewter colour! Nice formula and the brush was good. Lasted well.

NYC Greenwich Goddess

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (3 minutes a coat). It's a lovely white speckled polish. I do like this sort of finish a lot :-D The formula was good with the polish. Lasted well.

Colour Alike 541

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (2-3 minutes a coat). It's a gorgeous purple that is slightly iridescent! The shift could have been stronger, but as a purple it's really lovely anyway! Like other Colour Alikes before it, this one is scented but isn't that strong. This lasts really well.

Miss Beauty Top Pink

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (2-3 minutes a coat). At first I thought it was going to be sheer, but 2 coats did the trick. I would say to be careful of painting because it can be prone to brushstroke. It's a pretty baby pink! The is a really cheap brand and I'm happy with the quality. Lasted well.

Avon Ruby

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (1-2 minutes a coat). It's a gorgeous red texture with gold sparkles. Noticed slight tip wear but lasted well otherwise.

Sally Hansen Taffeta

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (2 minutes a coat). It's a lovely purple polish with a nice satin finish. Must admit to really liking this sort of finish! It also has holo sparkles, but because of the satin finish these don't show. I was tempted to put a glossy topper on it to show them off, but there was no sun for decent photos :-| I might try it if it's sunny soon! Noticed slight tip wear, but nothing else. Lasted well otherwise.

Angelica Boom Pop

This is the glitter I put on top of Morgan Taylor Watt Yel-lookin' At? 

This is easy to use, easy to apply and slow drying (6-7 minutes for a coat). I had to dab it on more than actually painting, so it was quite thick! I think it looks really nice on the yellow. I thought it was a clear base, but it wasn't and it slightly changed the colour of the yellow to a more lime type colour. Lasted well.

Essence Caramel Brownie

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (2 minutes a coat). It's a brown polish with a slight shimmer, it also has some purple tones that you can see in certain lights. I must admit it does have a good name too :-D It's was okay and I bought it because it was cheap. I wouldn't normally buy a brown, but you gotta try things sometimes! Lasted really well.

MUA Super Strength Base Coat

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (1 minute for a coat). It smells a little too. I had never used this base coat before, so I thought I would try it. The previous post Avon Hot, had chipped and then I tried it with the Lippmann. I was really shocked because it chipped within half an hour! I put a top coat on and it still chipped quite badly. That's my left had and right was worse than that!

I tried the Lippmann polish with the Butter London base coat and it didn't chip! My conclusion is that the Lippmann polish is good quality and the base coat is rubbish. I really don't recommend this at all. If you are looking for a cheap base coat, Collection do a good one.

Avon Hot

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (1-1.5 minutes a coat). It's a gorgeous red colour! The brush is good and the lid is comfortable to hold. I noticed tip wear and slight chipping too. Pity, as it's such a lovely colour.

Rimmel Violet Metal

This is easy to use, easy to apply and okay drying (3-4 minutes a coat).The brush is really good and the lid is comfortable to hold. The formula is pretty good as well. It's a gorgeous purple with a lovely blue shimmer :-D Noticed tip wear but it lasted well otherwise, no chipping.
